Now it’s a bloated, unusable mess!! I used to love PandaDoc. It was a fast, lightweight, highly efficient tool that got out of your way and just let you send contracts or take payment. The recent updates have completely ruined it. They changed their entire format, and it went from being a fast lightweight tool to a bloated mess that is brutal to work with.
The new template editor is painfully slow and clunky. Instead of just letting you drop a contract in and send it, it traps you in this stupid, rigid process where you have to follow their exact steps, or it breaks.
Worse is what they did to the Pipedrive integration. It used to sync perfectly, but now it’s a complete joke. It throws errors, the variables don't pull correctly, and you are forced to constantly put all these manual contact inputs in every single time you want to send a simple contract. It literally costs me deals now because the system is so damn slow. I'm actively looking for a replacement that actually works natively with Pipedrive and takes payments without all this new forced, bloated time waste. Stay away.

The integration of basic field merging works perfectly well and is very useful. This can save a lot of time for straight forward easy documents. We use quite complex proposals in which specific products are grouped according to categories over several tables. It wasnt possible to automate this.
However, even after intensively trying to implement PandaDoc to automate our writing of proposals, one critical reason, why PandaDoc ultimately did not convince us, was the fact that products, sorted according to categories in PipeDrive, can obviously not be transformed into separate product price tables. We tried with using rules.

I keep products and product description in PipeDrive. When I go to Panda to create the order form only the products are coming over.
