I am an early-stage startup that had a "rolodex" made up of contacts spanning 20+ years. To say my contacts list was a mess was an understatement. Dedup.ly made the task of deduplication, cleansing, and selecting which data elements to retain a breeze. Pipedrive is unable to automatically merge imported deals. Dedupely is a solid, albeit expensive tool, that does this job for Pipedrive Hopefully, Pipedrive will sort out their import function or buy Dedupely at some stage :)

It merged hundreds of contacts that had completely different email addresses, for example 123@gmail.com and 789@gmail got merged :(
We've lost a few days of work just to separate the wrongfully merged contacts, plus we lost a lot of data that is not recoverable.
If you use it - DO NOT use the auto merge option. ALWAYS check all the suggested merges before.

Worth the money to use this tool for the month. If you need to do a deep clean of your database, this is the tool for you. I was a bit skeptical, but take your time with the first few to make sure it's doing what you think it's doing. You can filter each variable by exact match, similar match etc. So start with exact matches and take your time before you run a script on a huge database. I eliminated over 6,000 duplicates in an hour, it would have taken me a month to do it by hand. Recommend.

Great app to integrate with your CRM if you receive deals/contacts from multiple sources. In our scenario a customer could potentially enquire for the same product through different sources which means we receive duplicate enquiries from the same customer. With a click of a button Dedupely does exactly what you want it to do and merges all these duplicates together using the enquirers details submitted. So for example, a customer could name themselves something different from their first enquiry but still submit a same email address. Dedupely matches the email address and flags it as a duplicate.
We have been using this for a few days now and it has already merged 100s of duplicates! Saves a lot of hassle and is very easy to use.

Takes too much time to resolve partial matches. Excel does the same thing to help identify and use Pipedrive to resolve the merge.
